LHC's Squirrel type rating course is really excellent. They were extremely flexible in planning the course around my schedule and took care of all negotiations with the CAA over what the exact requirements are. The ground school was efficiently presented in powerpoint and the flight training was both thorough and fun!

I started training with LHC just over two years ago after having interviewed a few other flying schools. I chose LHC because of the friendly, relaxed atmosphere there. The fact they maintain their own helicopters means the aircraft are always at hand. The instructors are great people; very patient and enthusiastic. 24 months and 7 exams later I passed my PPL(H). Will continue to study my CPL(H) there, no doubt! Good work, LHC!

I started my training with LHC following on from a Discovery Day Experience and have never looked back. I have found the instructors to be very friendly and professional, and with their encouragement and enthusiam, I have progressed through my ground school exams and into solo flying with a confidence that I never thought I'd have in a helicopter! The helicopters are maintained to an excellent standard with engineers on site at the aerodrome, so safety comes as standard.
