Robinson Safety Course

At least once a year now we plan to run the hugely succesful Robinson Safety Course, hosted by R22 and R44 safety expert Capt. Richard Mornington Sanford (Dick to his friends).

Course Content

Day One

The first day is spent looking at general accident causes and the history of the Robinson marques.

Day Two

The second looks at specific technical issues and in depth system studies of the R22 and R44.

The Flying

The Flying portion of the course is undertaken with our experienced instructors, and focuses on flight with the governor switched off. Students will see how effective the correlator is at controlling RPM and will carry a series of manoeuvres to reinforce this fact.
