Radio Telephony Examinations

We offer both the written and pracitcal assessments for the Flight Radio Telephony Licence

Our examiner is dual qualified and provides a service to local fixed wing schools as well as rotary students.

We use the 'RANT' trainer for simulating the route flown on our RT exams.

RT Training

We can provide training for the RT practical at our standard training rate, this is usually provided by our RT examiner, although on occasion may be provided by one of our other experienced instructors

Preparation for the Exam

It is normal to 'learn as you fly' for the RT practical , each flying lesson you take will expose you to more RT phraseology and the CAA provide an excellent (although slightly dry) handbook in the form of CAP 413
