Aviation Medical Examiners
If you want to fly solo or hold a licence you will need to visit an Aviation Medical Examiner to obtain a medical certificate. Private and student pilots need only obtain a Class 2 medical, those who want to progress on to commercial flying later in their careers would be well advised to obtain a Class 1 medical prior to beginning flight training
